Hayley Okines, the fearless 17-year-old from England with an uncommon and deadly condition that rashly matured her body almost eight times faster than ordinary, passed away Thursday night. Her mom, Kerry, posted the declaration on Facebook: "My infant young lady has gone some place better. She took her final gasp in my arms at 9.39pm x."
Hayley, who penned the self-portrayal Old Before My Time at 14 years old and was known as Britain's 100-year-old youngster (her body had matured to 104 at the time of her passing), she suffered from Hutchinson Gilford Progeria Syndrome, otherwise called HGPS or Progeria.
