The Nigeria Police has announced the death of Alhaji Muhammad Hurdi (pictured middle above), the Katsina State commissioner of police. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Aminu Sadiq announced the demise of Hurdi in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Katsina.

INEC postpone Election Till Tomorrow.

INEC has however announced that due to some challenges, the voting procedure will be extended till tomorrow, Sunday March 29, 2015, and some centers will go back to using the manual accreditation process.

Bomb Explosion at Enugu polling Boot..

The latest controlled explosion was carried out around 9:05 am, few minutes after the Enugu Police Commissioner, Dan Bature, arrived the scene.

Although journalists are still unable to gain entrance to exact spot, a source said the bomb was laden in a Honda Jeep.

The situation has created panic in the area as voters were seen running helter-skelter.
