Gang kills 68-year-old for hitting man with fetish ring

A gang in the Ketu area of Lagos State has tortured to death a 68-year-old man, Nasirudeen Ajawesola, for allegedly hitting a resident of the area with a fetish ring.

A TransAsia airways plane carrying 58 people crashed into a river yesterday morning just three minutes after it took off in Taipei, Taiwan, and 15 people miraculously survived the crash, including a 2 year old boy. The 15 were pulled from the wreckage of the plane by rescuers, 43 others are either dead or missing. Sad. The little boy who was rescued wasn’t even seriously injured.

According to a reliable corespondent, who sent in the report, the incident happened early this morning at Gudu roundabout in Abuja. He said policemen in their van were chasing a Keke driver and during the chase, the Keke tumbled and caught fire. The only passenger in the Keke managed to escape unhurt but the driver wasn't so lucky. Bonario said seeing the Keke and driver on fire, the police quickly left the scene, leaving the man to burn to death. He said this enraged other Keke drivers and some people who witnessed the incident and they began to protest. He said it took the intervention of military men to disperse the protesters. 4-year old calls 911, saves pregnant mother and becomes a big sister

(CNN)Calise Manning is being called a hero for helping her pregnant mother and calling 911 operators in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

"She's shaking and she's having a baby," Calise tells a dispatcher in 911 audio obtained by CNN affiliate WWMT. "My mom is really pregnant and she's having a boy and she really needs help."
