NFF to Employ Police Forensic Experts To Confirm Kawu’s Signature on Maigari Impeachment Notice.


Following the denial of a Northern football official in signing the Impeachment notice of Aminu Maigari, the NFF has said that it might seek the services of Forensic experts to determine the authenticity of the matter.

Chairman of the NNL, Ahmed Kawu denied to have signed the notice, claiming that it was forged, a position which an NFF board member Effiong Johnson termed as “childish and regrettable,” adding that “Kawu is not man enough to face Maigari and tell him that he willingly supported his impeachment.”

Nigerian accountant /Pastor execute Britain's biggest ever education fraud

Samuel Kayode, a 57-year-old part-time pastor and accountant at a chain of academies championed by Michael Gove, has executed Britain's biggest education fraud.
Samuel is at the center of a fraud investigation after £4million of school funds ended up in his personal accounts.
The case, kept secret for almost two years, is believed to be Britain’s biggest ever education fraud.Although Kayode was arrested in October 2012, police have yet to charge him with any crime.

Woman nabbed with dead 5-year-old child in Lagos

Policemen in Lagos, yesterday, foiled attempt by a mob to lynch a middle-aged woman who was in possession of a dead child at Mile-Two, along Oshodi/Apapa expressway.
Though the woman, who gave her name as Florence, claimed that the dead child was hers, the mob said she could have kidnapped and killed the child for money ritual.

Hajj commission fixes N693,636 as pilgrims’ fare

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria on Friday announced a minimum of N693, 636.77 as the 2014 Hajj fare for intending pilgrims in the country.

This was contained in a statement by its Head of Media, Mr Uba Mana, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja.

COEASU suspends seven month-old strike !

The Colleges of Education of Academic Staff Union (COEASU) said on Thursday that it had suspended its seven month-old strike for three months with effect from Monday, July 21.

COEASU Chairman, Emmanuel Asagha, announced the suspension at the end of a meeting with the Minister of Education, Alhaji Ibrahim Shekarau, in Abuja.
